President's Column My goal as President is "Getting The Word Out". When I joined Kiwanis I knew very little of what the club was all about. It has been a wonderful journey for me and being President gives me the opportunity to "Make a Difference" and give back. Kiwanis is all about children and for this reason we are constantly seeking new members committed to our kids. As part of the dedication to our kids, Kiwanis Family House facilities are available to those residing in the Auburn Area. We support sponsored youth groups including Key Club at Placer High School, Builders Club at E.V. Cain, Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, and Aktion Club for developmentally challenged adults. Auburn Kiwanis Club is involved in many community projects, and partners with service groups and businesses. As President, I personally invite any interested party to attend one of our fun meetings each Wednesday evening, 6:30pm at the Sizzler in Auburn and discover what a difference you can make.
