About our club
The Kiwanis Club of Auburn has been serving the greater community of Auburn, California since 1952. Our mission is to serve children and we do so in multiple ways throughout the year.
Our Community Impact
We hold meetings on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month at the Pizza Factor at 13470 Lincoln Way, Auburn, CA 95603 at 6:30 pm.
The Auburn Kiwanis Club sponsors the Placer High School Key Club, as well as service clubs at Skyridge Elementary, EV Cain School, Auburn Elementary, and Newcastle Elementary.
Our club is proud to have supported many organizations and activities that benefit children. Including recent support of:
Auburn Corps, Salvation Army
Auburn Education Foundation
Auburn Interfaith Food Closet
Auburn Kiwanis ‘Student-of-the-Year Program’
Auburn Recreation District
Auburn Symphony School Program
AUSD ‘Arrive to Thrive’ Program
Boys and Girls Club of Placer County
Christmas for Kids
Feed the Hungry of Auburn
Keaton’s Child Cancer Alliance
Gathering Inn - Mid Placer
Placer County Law Enforcement Chaplaincy
Placer Nature Center
Placer Sheriff’s Activities League
Word Busters
Additionally, we provide thousands of dollars of scholarships to graduating seniors at Placer High School, Colfax High School, Foresthill High School, Confluence High School, and Maidu Virtual Charter Academy. We also provide financial support for students at Sierra College who were in the foster care system as children.
Our biggest fundraiser each year is a See’s Candy pop up store open between mid-November and Christmas Eve (or whenever we sell out of candy). Our members volunteer their time to work the store, which keeps the overhead low so 100% of the profits go back to the community to benefit other non-profits, our foundation’s activities, and high school scholarships.
